Free Diagnostic Assessment
Our free diagnostic assessment is designed to identify the student's strengths and areas for growth in key academic areas such as math, reading, writing, and critical thinking. The diagnostic assessment is free of charge and there is no obligation to commit to any tutoring sessions. It is a great way for parents and students to get to know our tutors and learn about the Ivy Prep approach to academic support.
Math
Approximately 60% of students experience math anxiety with Ontario grade 6 students achieving the lowest scores in Canada. Our goal at Ivy Prep Tutoring is to help minimize math anxiety, move towards an appreciation and love of mathematics, and to support students in achieving their maximum math potential.
Our tutors work with your child's classroom curriculum
and use a variety of teaching methods to ensure that students understand concepts thoroughly and are able to apply them in real-world situations.
Science
We offer tutoring in all Science subjects from Kindergarten to Grade 10. Our tutors can help students with homework assignments, test preparation, and exam reviews. They can also provide assistance and guidance with lab reports, research projects, and science fair projects.

At Ivy Prep Tutoring, we believe that learning science should be engaging and fun. Our tutors use a variety of teaching methods, such as interactive games, simulations, and experiments, to make science come alive for our students.
English Language Arts
Our experienced tutors are trained to help students develop strong reading, writing, and language skills that will serve them throughout their academic and personal lives. We focus on building a strong foundation in literacy by helping students master phonics, comprehension, and vocabulary, and progressing to more advanced reading and writing strategies.
Our tutors help students refine their writing skills, develop critical thinking and analysis skills, and prepare for standardized tests. We also offer support for English Language Learners (ELLs) to help them build their language skills and achieve academic success.
